Regarding the Education Bureau ventilation enhancement subsidy scheme for kindergartens, DSS schools and Caput schools for ventilation system testing and purchase of air purifiers, Modus will work with registered ventilation contractor approved by the Buildings Department to inspect the ventilation of the school premises and provide the school with a written test report.

The report includes inspections and specific recommendations for improving school ventilation, such as installing air purifiers with high-efficiency particulate air filtration (HEPA) equipment that meet relevant specifications. Once the school has completed the ventilation improvement, the registered ventilation contractor will issue a certificate to the school to confirm that the school building has complied with the improvement recommendations in the report and meet the ventilation requirements.
